  This time of the year was very important because we have had to match everyone’s schedules, and this was the only time we had available to go on a trip together.

  My wife booked us in for the long weekend. You can get cabins or rooms. We had the couples room with jacuzzi and fireplace. We were offered propane for our BBQ if wanted. The decor is a little dated but the room was clean and there was a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The patio walkway is new and the beach is very nice with a new rock retaining wall with steps into the water. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere and surroundings are very tranquil. Overall a nice weekend away!

  Between the woods and the lake, it's a great place to "get away from it all" and find some quiet time alone without distractions. There's an on-site restaurant serving good, simple fare, and a general store not too far away, which makes things convenient.

  Cozy little lodge surrounded by pine trees and scenic lake.Really enjoyed the stay. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Just 2 mins to the beautiful lake front where you swim, kayak or just relax and watch the sunset.

  Had a great time! We stayed in a one bedroom suite, very clean, spacious and great view of the lake. Melissa the general manager was a great host! Look forward to returning again.

  Poor professionalism. We booked very early (around October) for a December trip and were notified ONLY A DAY BEFORE THE TRIP that their water pipes were down. We were also informed that this had been going on for 4 days now. Because the trip was so close, we were asked to book a different place, but were unable to find anything else. If we had just been informed 4 days ago, it would have been a lot easier to find a different place.
